Welcome to the CAMS Online Video Course
The Online Video Course provides an overview of the CAMS model and clinical demonstrations with Dr. Jobes and a suicidal patient. There are eight video segments which you will be able to view at your own pace during the time that you have access to the course. The course includes an Introduction and Introduction Update, five Clinical Sessions over the course of treatment using the CAMS framework, and a Conclusion. The total running time is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
You have access to this course for 30 days now that you are on this page. We have provided a notice of when your access to the course expires to help you keep track of your time under the Course Expiration section.
The system will permit you to leave and return when you have time to complete the course. Your progress in the course will be tracked to assist you. You may return to any video even if you have completed it at any point during your 30 day access.
Course materials are provided below and on every page of the course. We recommend that you download the SSF-4 Completed in Course Video forms as these will provide a visual reference to the forms completed by Dr. Jobes and his patient in the course.
Your access to the course provides you with a copy of the SSF-4 and the CAMS Therapeutic Worksheet for your use with your patients. Please download a copy for your use.
We recommend purchasing the CAMS Book: Managing Suicidal Risk: A Collaborative Approach, 2nd Edition which is a companion piece to the Online Video and will be an ongoing resource for you after your access to the course is completed.
If you are earning CE credits for this course, you will need to complete the CE test in order to do so. You should return to the My Account page when you complete the course to take the test to earn your CE certificate and credit hours.

Our course is broken into 8 Lessons, which includes an Introduction and Introduction Update, Five Clinical Demonstrations, and a Conclusion. If you need to break up your learning time, we recommend completing a full lesson in one sitting, which will allow you to easily track your position in the course.

TIPS & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I use the video player?
To begin watching, simply click on the arrow in the middle of the screen. If you would like to watch the video in full-screen form, place your cursor over the screen and the menu bar will appear, click on the square on the right-hand side. If you wish to return to the initial sized video, use the Esc key on your computer.
Will my location in the videos save if I leave?
If you leave the website, your location within a video may not save; however, your location amongst lessons will be saved. To ensure your progress is recorded in our system, use the "Mark Complete" button on this page once you are done with a lesson.
The videos are not playing and/or the screen is black or the wheel is just spinning
We recommend using the latest version of the Chrome Browser, which can be installed here, to access the course. Please note that if your browser blocks websites that track activity, you will need to turn that function off temporarily in order to access the videos.
You may also have a firewall or security setting that blocks video streaming to your computer unless you enter access to the website that hosts our videos (or your organization needs to create permissions in the system to permit access from your computer to the site). My video is not running smoothly.
If you find that the video is pausing and not running smoothly, we suggest that you pause the video and allow it to stream for five minutes and then start it again. We recommend access the course with the latest version of the Chrome Browser, which can be installed here.
These tips may also be helpful in determining what is causing the video to pause or not run smoothly:
Operating System Issues: Older versions of Microsoft Windows may not support HTML5 players to stream our video. Your IT department can provide you with more information about new versions of operating systems to accommodate streaming video. You may also be able to view the video on a tablet or iPad.
Internet speed: The minimum viable connection speed to stream video reliably without pauses in the streaming is about 768 kilobits per second (equal to .768 megabits per second). We recommend a connection speed of at least 5 megabits per second.
Buffering Issues: If you are viewing the video and have low WiFi speed and range or using a WiFi network with multiple users, you may find that the video pauses while streaming. A solution to this is to pause the video after it begins and permit the video to buffer (download data). You may want to try this solution if the video is taking a long time to buffer:

I've tried all your solutions and the video is still not playing
If none of the solutions we've provided work, please follow the instructions below to report the problem to our host site Wistia:
Right-click on the screen with the video player (as shown in the picture below) and select "Report a Problem" to send Wistia diagnostics and they will assist you.
How do I view SSF Forms completed in the Online Training Video
SSF Forms used by Dr. Jobes and the client in the video are accessible in the area above titled SSF Forms. We recommend that you download and print those forms as a resource as you view the video.
How do I access blank SSF Forms?
By completing the CAMS Foundational On-Line Video you have permission to use the SSF-4 in your practice.
Please note that Permission to Photocopy the SSF is granted for personal use or use with individual clients and is not to be distributed or shared with those who have not taken this course. You will only have access to the forms while you have access to the course, therefore, we encourage you to download those forms before you begin the course.
Will I receive a certificate of completion for the course?
A certificate of completion will be available in your account once you have completed the course. The certificate is available for download by clicking the ribbon icon next to the course listed on that page.
