Once you become CAMS Trained™, build on your foundation of the CAMS Framework® to earn the prestigious CAMS Certified designation. Demonstrate a deep knowledge and adherence to the CAMS Framework when you hone and scale your practice through two additional training elements:

Individuals and groups of 5 or fewer can order training through the CAMS Training Platform. Groups of 6 or more people are invited to contact our team to facilitate the evaluation.

A 2-hour competency review of the CAMS Framework
This review features a personalized one-on-one role play of Session 1 and an abbreviated interim session with a scripted client, guided by a CAMS Consultant.
Once you pass your Review and become CAMS Certified, we recommend you recertify every 5 years through another Review. Between recertifications, we also ask that you participate in various CAMS training courses to ensure you stay current with the CAMS Framework.

Recommendations to help you prepare for the CAMS Certified Review:
- Use CAMS with at least 3 clients
- Complete Advanced CAMS Training: Mastering Drivers Focused Care, a 3 hour interactive course which builds on the clinician’s knowledge of CAMS and addresses best practice during interim care sessions.

The Recommended Path to Becoming CAMS Certified
Clinicians must build a foundation of CAMS starting with becoming CAMS Trained.
Once you receive your CAMS Trained designation, you can continue on to earn your CAMS Certified™ designation and become a CAMS approved clinic.
You can also continuing your training to meet unique needs and situations of patients across settings and demographics, including CAMS-4Teens, Supervising for CAMS, and other Advanced CAMS Training anytime before or after attaining your CAMS Certified designation.

Recertification Requirements
Maintaining your CAMS Certified designation involves completing 10 hours of CAMS courses over a five-year period and passing a CAMS Certified Review every fifth anniversary
